Great info, Laurie! But how hard would it be to not say ANYTHING during your critique? (Well, it would be hard for me, but only because I don't think I CAN go a few minutes without saying anything, critique or no!) ;)

It's incredibly difficult to keep quiet during a critique, but also important. If you find yourself having to explain what you meant, then it's time to go back to the manuscript and write what you meant.
