Laurie, This is a great post. I started a blog, and yes, I didn't know how to make it unique, so I abandoned it for awhile. Actually, I just need to spend time on my writing, so the blog can wait. I picked up a few awards several yrs back (two very nice ones from SCBWI), but it's the publishing that counts.
